Reading Log can only be sorted by date added (newest/oldest)\n\nI think, it would be best to at least add sorting options that are present in search results for uniformity between various pages. It might be also useful for people who keep long TBR lists or similar. Everything happens in Python on data the list page already loads, so every item stays on the list in every sort order.\n\n| Option | `?sort=` value | Order |\n|---|---|---|\n| List Order (default, exists) | `index` | The order the owner added items |\n| **Recently Added** (new) | `added` | List Order reversed. Use it in `list_view.GET`**, before the page is sliced, so paging works across the whole list:\n\n```python\nseeds = lst.get_seeds(sort=(sort == \"last_modified\"), resolve_redirects=True)\nseeds = sort_list_seeds(seeds, sort)\npage_seeds = seeds[page * page_size : page * page_size + page_size]\n```\n\n`last_modified` is still handled by `get_seeds`; the helper leaves it alone.\n\n**3. Add tests** to `openlibrary/plugins/openlibrary/tests/test_lists.py`. `sort_list_seeds` is a plain function, so build seeds with `SimpleNamespace(key=..., type=..., title=...)` (the existing `_make_seed` helper has no `title`; add one or make your own) and assert the order. Cover:\n* `added` reverses the list\n* `title` sorts A–Z ignoring case (`\"apple\"` before `\"Banana\"`)\n* `title` puts `author` and `subject` seeds after books, in their original order\n* `None`, `index`, `last_modified`, and an unknown value like `\"bogus\"` return the list unchanged\n\nRun them with:\n```bash\nmake test-py-uv PYTEST_ARGS=\"openlibrary/plugins/openlibrary/tests/test_lists.py\"\n```\n\n**5. Check it by hand.** In the dev environment (`docker compose up`, log in as `openlibrary` / `openlibrary`), make a list with 3+ books and an author, then visit the list with `?sort=added`, `?sort=title`, and `?sort=last_modified`. Pick each option from the sort menu too.
